WHY ARE SESSIONS DONE ONLINE? WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?

Due to the worldwide pandemic we have found ourselves in, therapy has moved to an online platform to provide a much needed service. Face to face sessions have become obsolete due to lockdowns & health concerns. I will also do what ever i can, to work around your life style & schedules. My aim is to provide a service with the least amount of stress as possible.

HOW LONG ARE THE THERAPY SESSION'S?

Each therapy session can be quite intensive and runs for 45-Minutes.

DO YOU USE THE PERSON CENTERED THERAPY APPROACH  & WHAT IS IT?

Yes, I am a person centred Therapist. Person-centered therapy, also known as person-centered or client-centered counseling is a humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which individuals perceive themselves consciously, rather than how a counsellor can interpret their unconscious thoughts or ideas.

HOW MANY SESSIONS SHOULD I BOOK PER-WEEK?

If it is your first attempt at getting sober, I would recommend two one to one therapy sessions a week. Abstaining from drugs & alcohol is very hard at the start, you will need all the support you can get at the beginning. It's a very long week if you only have one session a week with seven days in between those sessions. If you are coming to me to maintain your recovery I would recommend just the one a week.
